[Glorantha] On the subject of demigods

I butted in on the "official" vs. "how I do it" part of this
discussion a while ago, but:

As far as I can tell, he's starting his own new cult, which I would
guess is related to his father.

Even if it wasn't meant to be literal, Arkat certainly seemed to spend
a lot of time emulating his "father."

So both of these "canon" examples don't seem to stray far from the
divine parent, though I'm certain there's an argument that Arkat
strayed (but he seemed to go back to something Humakt-like in the end
as far as I can tell).

Of course anything goes in varying Glorantha, right? The demigoddess
in my current game is about half devoted to her divine parent, and
half devoted to another goddess (the one she initiated to). (In my
version of HQ, there aren't hard and fast lines between the worlds
[Inner, Hero, God], so this only means she has a good headstart over
the other PCs if they ever decide to emulate their deities more
thoroughly - like disciples or Harrek, again AFAICT.)
